Weekend Console Download Deals for Sept. 11: Tokyo Game Show sales begin

PlayStation is getting ahead of this year's Tokyo Game Show with a big-time sale.

With Gamescom all wrapped up, it's time to look ahead to the next big event. Tokyo Game Show is going down in just a few weeks and PlayStation is getting ahead of it with the Tokyo Game Show sale. Look for deals on games like Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Resident Evil Requiem, and first-time discounts on Pragmata and The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. Xbox is following suit, matching a handful of these deals and mixing things up with discounts on Life is Strange: Reunion and Scott Pilgrim EX.

Nintendo's big Customer Appreciation Sale is set to begin tomorrow, so it won't be in time for this weekend's feature, but it'll be around for a while, so look for that full rundown next week. In the meantime, check out deals on the newly released Meccha Chameleon and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, both of which shadowdropped following this week's Nintendo Direct.
