Zelda Switch 2 Console UK Pre-Orders Open

Nintendo UK has opened pre-orders for The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition Nintendo Switch 2 console on the Nintendo Store.

The Triforce-etched hardware is priced at £434.99, with The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller and Display Stand (£92.99) as well as The Lefend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition Nintendo Switch 2 Carrying Case and Screen Protector (£29.99) also available to pre-order.

The bad news is that demand for console and accessories means that the Nintendo Store has been completely hammered since the product listings went live around 10am BST earlier today.

To counter this (and, we hope, bots), the Nintendo Store has implemented a queuing system which, if you join at the time of writing, will mean that your estimated wait time is “more than an hour” until you can place pre-orders for any products that remain available.
